Building a Fair & Better Queens
A New Leader for Our Community
Steady. Accountable. Focused on results.
Jonathan believes leadership begins with listening and following through for the people who call this community home.
This campaign is about moving forward with practical solutions, responsible leadership, and a clear plan for strengthening our neighborhoods.
And that plan starts here:
A New Chapter Begins
-
District 28 families deserve strong public schools with manageable class sizes, modern facilities, and transparent planning. We will advocate for accelerated capital funding to address overcrowding, support expanded after-school programs, and ensure parents have a real voice in school capacity decisions.
-
Residents deserve clean streets, safe intersections, and responsive local government. We will prioritize traffic calming in high-congestion areas, improved street lighting, stronger sanitation enforcement, and consistent communication between community members and local precincts.
-
Development should strengthen our neighborhoods — not strain them. We will push for infrastructure impact reviews before major rezonings, advocate for drainage and sewer upgrades where needed, and protect the character of residential blocks while planning for smart, sustainable growth.
-
Small businesses are the backbone of Forest Hills, Rego Park, Middle Village, Glendale, and Kew Gardens. We will work to streamline permitting processes, support cleaner and safer commercial corridors, and promote policies that reduce storefront vacancies and strengthen local commerce.
-
A fair community supports residents at every stage of life. We will expand senior programming and aging-in-place initiatives, strengthen youth mentorship and workforce partnerships, and improve access to city services so families and seniors can thrive.
Community in Action
Investing in Our Neighborhoods
Jonathan joined neighbors at the Forest Hills Eco-Mural on Yellowstone Blvd. & Kessel St, a community led project transforming a local trestle into a vibrant symbol of environmental sustainability and community involvement. Projects like this reflect the power of community and coming together to improve and reimagine shared spaces.
The kind of engaged, hands-on leadership District 28 deserves.
